About us
Who we are
We are a team of researchers, consultants, and policy analysts committed to advancing equity through evidence-based practice. With more than ten years of experience in research and social impact consulting, we bring academic rigour and practical expertise to every project.
Drawing on expertise across the social sciences and advanced methodological training, our team specialises in developing culturally responsive and equitable data practices that help organisations design, measure, and sustain meaningful change. We are passionate about partnering with organisations to help them achieve meaningful and sustainable social impact.
Vision
Our vision is to strengthen the link between evidence and action by co-creating research and evaluation processes that are grounded in real experiences and transferable into practical strategies. Through qualitative, participatory, and mixed-method approaches, we aim to generate insights that are intersectional, globally informed, and responsive to lived realities.
We envision a world where knowledge, data, and research practices contribute to equity, justice, and collective wellbeing. Our work is grounded in the belief that rigorous analysis, curiosity, collaboration, and care can transform how organisations and communities understand and address social challenges.
Guided by intersectional perspectives, we strive to ensure that equity, contextual sensitivity, and inclusivity are at the heart of every project we undertake. We see research not as an extractive process, but as a collaborative practice, one that values diverse voices, experiences, and ways of knowing, through which it is possible to build more just, caring, and sustainable societies.

What we do
We support organisations and communities to plan, clarify, evaluate and strengthen their social impact. We produce evidence-based social research and evaluations with methodological rigour and adaptability to the dynamic realities of the people we work with.
We aim to support meaningful and sustained transformative impact in social development, particularly in areas related to children and youth, education, gender, and sustainability.
Our work includes strategic analysis through up-to-date background reports, comparative policy analysis to inform recommendations, end-to-end research design and implementation, and the development of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) cycles and systems. We provide:
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL): Designing frameworks, Theories of Change, and indicators that connect strategy, implementation, accountability, and learning, fostering sustained reflection and impact.
- Programme evaluations: Qualitative and mixed-method assessments that highlight what works, why, and how programmes can improve.
- Evidence and policy analysis: Desk-based studies, background reports, literature reviews, and comparative policy research that provide the evidence base for strategy, decision-making, and policy design.
- Findings uptake and impact: Facilitating knowledge translation to ensure that insights reach the people, policymakers, and communities who can act on them, bringing evidence to life.
How we do it
We combine analytical rigour with curiosity, collaboration, and care. Our approach is guided by intersectional perspectives, ensuring that equity, contextual sensitivity, and inclusivity are central to every project.
We work together with our partners to understand their needs and co-design research and evaluation processes that are grounded in evidence and real experiences, ensuring that findings are transferable into practical strategies.
We develop applied research informed by evidence and theory, using qualitative, participatory, and mixed-method methodologies. Our approach is distinctive in being:
- Intersectional: integrating gender, socio-economic, and racism-based inequalities, among other dimensions of inequality, ensuring an inclusive perspective.
- Global and multicultural perspective: drawing on North-South and South-South collaborations and experience across diverse regions, maintaining a culturally responsive approach to different contexts.
- Participatory and responsive: co-creating processes with partners and participants to ensure insights reflect lived realities.
- Actionable strategies: turning research into evidence and learning that create lasting, meaningful change.
